At Venture Title Services, we’re thrilled to introduce our newest team member, Debbie Cook, joining us as a Sales Representative at our Naples branch.
Originally hailing from Libertyville, Debbie brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success in the real estate industry. With a background as a mortgage broker and later as a seasoned Title Rep, Debbie’s journey is marked by accomplishments and a relentless pursuit of excellence. From establishing a branch for First American in Illinois to navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Debbie’s resilience and determination have been unwavering throughout her career.
Before joining us, Debbie moved to Southwest Florida from Chicago for a job with The Fund. She got to know the area well and eventually met our president, Ryan Marrie, through a former boss. According to Debbie, they hit it off right away.
“I liked Ryan from the start,” says Debbie. “We clicked, and the job at VTS seemed like a perfect match for my skill-set and achievements.”
Debbie brings her love for challenges, self-motivation, and appreciation for teamwork to the VTS table, and is thrilled about the opportunities in the Southwest Florida real estate. Witnessing the steady influx of retirees and the surging demand for retirement living, especially in areas like Cape Coral, only adds to her excitement.
“The possibilities here are endless,” Debbie says, “Interest rates don’t really hold us back, either, since so many deals are completed in cash.”
As we welcomed Debbie to the VTS family, we also took the chance to learn about her personal life. Get to know Debbie at the Q&A below:
When you are not working, how do you like to spend your free time?
As my husband and I live just a few hours away from numerous Florida hotspots like Key West, Tampa, and Miami, we make it a point to explore different areas of the state whenever we can. We’re also both huge fans of boating and consider ourselves “foodies,” so we’re always on the lookout for tasty new recipes and fun restaurants to try out in town.
Please tell us about your family.
My husband and I went to school together, and we’ve been married for about 30 years now. In that time, we’ve been blessed with three daughters, including a set of twins. Our twins arrived less than a year after our first daughter, which meant we had three little girls all under one at the same time. That was the year I discovered coffee!
